Grant Writer for Tech Trade School
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m laying the groundwork for a non-profit trade-school network that mixes online instruction with hands-on labs focused on 3-D printing, electronics design, computer technology, architectural drafting, real-estate modeling and terrain modeling for 3-D prints. To secure the resources we need, my most urgent priority is grant writing aimed at foundation grants. I don’t yet have a roster of target funders, so I’m looking for someone who can both locate mission-aligned foundations and craft compelling proposals that speak to STEM education, workforce development and community impact.
If you have a track record of winning foundation support for educational or maker-space initiatives, I’d love your help translating this vision into persuasive Letters of Inquiry and full proposals. Familiarity with outcomes-based language, evidence-driven budgeting and the usual portals (Foundant, Fluxx, etc.) is highly desirable.
Deliverables
• A vetted list of at least 15 foundations whose guidelines clearly support education or workforce development, including deadlines and key contacts
• One polished, submission-ready Letter of Inquiry tailored to the strongest prospect
• A customizable full proposal template (narrative, budget and attachments) that meets typical foundation requirements
• A concise funding-strategy roadmap outlining next steps, metrics and reporting expectations
Acceptance criteria: Every prospect must meet eligibility standards for U.S. educational nonprofits; proposals must follow each foundation’s stated instructions and be ready for immediate submission.
