Grant Writer for Non-Profit

We are seeking a skilled grant writer in Eastern Ontario, Canada to assist our non-profit organization in securing funding from the Ontario Power Generation Empowerment Grant Program and Trillium Grant along with other grants that can be located. The funds will primarily be used for program development with the specific objective of obtaining further evidence of decline of walleye spawn. This evidence will allow us to go forth with a restocking program. We are also regenerating the Hoople Creek trail system which has been neglected for decades.

Ideal candidates should possess:
- Proven experience in grant writing, specifically for non-profit organizations.
- Familiarity with the Ontario Power Generation Empowerment Grant Program and Trillium Grant would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with locating applicable grants
- A track record of successful grant applications.
- Strong communication skills to articulate our needs and goals convincingly.
