Grant Writer for Faith Nonprofit

Job ID: 39893017

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I run a faith-based 501(c)(3) in Arizona that serves at-risk youth and the surrounding community. I need an experienced grant writer to secure three kinds of funding:

• Capital grants that can help us purchase a permanent building for our outreach center
• Program development grants to launch and staff new youth initiatives
• Operational grants to keep our existing outreach programs running smoothly

I am open to government opportunities on Grants.gov or SAM.gov, faith-friendly private foundations, and corporate community-impact programs—whichever sources best fit our mission.

Scope of work
1. Research and shortlist high-probability funders that align with our vision to increase outreach activities, expand youth programs, and improve facilities.
2. Create a grant calendar with deadlines, eligibility notes, and required attachments.
3. Prepare two complete grant applications (one capital, one program/operational), including tailored narratives, budgets, and all supporting documents.
4. Provide editable templates and boilerplate language I can reuse for future submissions.

I will supply our current strategic plan, program data, and financials. You bring persuasive writing skills, familiarity with faith-based funding language, and knowledge of Arizona-specific opportunities. A background in youth services or community development is a plus.

Timeline: initial funder list within one week, full applications drafted within four weeks. Clear communication, milestone check-ins, and document revisions until we have submission-ready packages are essential.

If you have a strong track record of winning grants for nonprofits like ours, I look forward to working with you.
