Fundraising expert needed for NPO working in South Africa
Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 USD
Hello! We’re looking to hire a freelance fundraiser with experience in the Non-Profit Organization (NPO) sector who can craft a successful fundraising campaign for our NPO work in South Africa.
We’re looking for someone who:
1. specializes in grant writing
2. can identify potential prospects
3. can write the necessary applications and proposals for grants from foundations and/or corporate sponsors that will benefit our NPO in South Africa.
Commission based, 10-15% of grants and donations. The goal is to reach $80.000-$100.000 in annual support.
The NPO launched in South Africa in May 2023 so is very new and without sufficient funds for the longer run. Hence the need for a fundraising expert that will help secure the financial part of the NPO.
ABOUT US
Located in the Eastern cape - the poorest region in South Africa - we work with under privileged young people from the townships with the goal of helping them to a life with dignity. More specifically teaching them life skills, vocational skills, creating better habits and getting positive values in place. A main objective is to equip and help them to a job, which will lead them away from a life of poverty and crime. Poverty and crime remain the two biggest challenges in South Africa.
We have been sent from the Danish church organisation Apostolic Church Mission.
