Scavenger Hunt at Venues
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
Scavenger Hunt App to work on both IOS and android.
At a large venue event, would like to do the following.
1) I would like it has GPS telling them they are getting closer, something live time. Then when they are within 2-3 feet of the destination, it tells them they need to find the QR code to scan. Once they scan, a celebration screen opens telling them they found the item. But, it only lets the admin know it has been claimed allowing others to keep looking so we can help a vendor attract traffic. The admin will, within 5-10 minutes, would announce in app that the item was claimed. Also tells them to stay alert for the next hunt and say the next hunt will at XXX time.
2) We want people to simply download the app and not have to fill anything out, just start playing. If they have to enter their information, they'll probably not participate.
3) Only one hunt at a time, run it 2-3 times per day.
4) Admin will be using phone to start/stop hunts. Admin will be at the spot to mark the pin, then walk away and start the hunt in the near future.
5) Only notify admin when claimed. We would like people to keep looking after claim. When they arrive, would like a screen showing 'Congrats, you found the location but you were a little too late as the prize has already been claimed. Stay alert for the next hunt'. The admin can end the current hunt at any time, most likely 5-15 minutes after item has been claimed. When the admin ends the hunt, a notification will then be sent to players.
6) Items are handed out physically.
7) Starting from scratch, I have nothing. I'm not a designer/programmer. Would need guidance on setting things up on my end, such as server hosts.
