WordPress Upgrade & Speed Audit

My WordPress site is still running PHP 7.4 on the Salient theme with Envira Gallery powering the photos. I need a reliable expert to bring everything up to date and leave the site lighter and faster—all within 7 days of award.

Scope of work
• Upgrade the hosting stack to the latest stable PHP version, verifying full site compatibility.
• Update the Salient theme, Envira Gallery, and every other active plugin.
• Identify and safely archive or remove inactive plugins, themes, and orphaned database tables.
• Optimise and clean the WordPress database to reduce overhead and improve query speed.
• Run a full site audit focused on general performance and, in particular, image-heavy gallery pages. Provide a short report with specific, actionable speed-improvement recommendations (caching, compression, CDN, etc.).
• Test the live site after each step to confirm that layouts, galleries, and core functionality remain intact.

I will supply full cPanel and WP-admin access and expect concise progress updates. Completion means the site runs on the new PHP, loads faster, is free of bloat, and comes with a clear optimisation report I can follow.
