WordPress Speed & Image Optimization

My WordPress site is dragging, and it’s starting to affect both user experience and conversions. I’ve pinpointed the main pain points: slow page load time and heavy, unoptimized images. The homepage and several product pages are the worst offenders, often taking far too long to render.

Here’s what I need done:

• Bring overall load time on the homepage and product pages down to a snappy level (ideally under 2.5 seconds on PageSpeed Insights or GTmetrix).
• Compress and convert existing images to lighter formats while retaining visual quality.
• Tweak caching, minification, and other speed-oriented settings so the improvements stick after theme or plugin updates.
• Provide a short hand-off report outlining exactly what was changed, which plugins or server-side tweaks you used, and any maintenance tips I should follow.

If you’re experienced with WordPress performance tuning—think image compression (WebP, AVIF), caching plugins, database cleanup, and server response optimization—this should be a straightforward engagement. Once I approve the final speed tests, we’re done.
