WordPress Setup & Speed Optimisation

I already have the domain pointed to an active hosting account, but WordPress itself is not yet installed. What I need is a quick, clean setup of the latest WordPress core, configuration of an SSL certificate so every page loads securely (HTTPS by default), and the installation + initial tuning of a lightweight caching / speed-boost stack (your preferred mix of tools such as WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, Autoptimize, or similar).

Because I haven’t chosen a theme, I’d like two or three recommendations that balance good Lighthouse scores with a modern blog look. Feel free to import a starter demo or minimal sample content so I can see the layout in action.

Deliverables (all within a single short session):
• Install WordPress on my server and confirm the admin login works.
• Force HTTPS site-wide with a valid SSL cert (Let’s Encrypt is fine).
• Recommend and activate an SEO-friendly, performant theme; set up basic customisation (logo, colours, menu).
• Add and configure speed optimisation plugins, test with PageSpeed Insights or GTmetrix, and document the settings you applied.
• Provide a quick hand-off note so I can replicate or adjust the optimisation later.

This is a small job that should comfortably fit into a one-to-two-hour window for someone experienced. I’m ready to get started right away and will be available to test URLs as you work.
