WordPress UX Polish & Optimization

I have a WordPress site that looks decent on the surface, but the overall user experience still feels rough around the edges. I’m looking for someone who can jump in, review what’s already built, and fine-tune three key areas:

• Navigation menu – streamline the structure, make it intuitive, and ensure links are easy to reach on desktop and touch screens.
• Page load speed – audit the current theme, plugins, and media, then implement caching, image compression, and any lightweight performance tweaks needed to bring the site comfortably under industry-standard load times.
• Mobile responsiveness – adjust layouts, typography, and touch targets so every page looks clean and functions flawlessly on phones and tablets.

I don’t have prior user feedback to hand you, so I’ll rely on your best-practice recommendations, quick usability tests, and clear rationales for each change. Please be comfortable working directly in WordPress (Gutenberg blocks and/or a page-builder), tweaking CSS, optimizing assets, and, if necessary, suggesting lightweight plugins for speed or navigation enhancements.

Deliverables will be:
1. Updated navigation menu live on the site.
2. Performance report showing improved load times and the steps taken.
3. Verified responsive layouts across major breakpoints, with before/after screenshots.
