WordPress Designer, Developer & SEO Expert (Website Optimization & Ranking)

We are looking for a highly skilled WordPress Designer & Developer with strong expertise in On-Page, Off-Page, and Technical SEO.
Design quality is a top priority — the website must have a premium, modern, and professional look aligned with a food & FMCG brand.

Your role will involve designing, optimizing, and enhancing our website for visual appeal, speed, performance, and search visibility, ensuring better rankings for our target keywords.

Key Responsibilities

- Website Design & UI/UX (High Priority):
- Design and customize WordPress website with a premium, clean, and brand-focused look
- Improve UI/UX, layout structure, typography, and visual consistency
- Ensure mobile-first, responsive, and conversion-friendly design
- Enhance product and landing page design for better engagement

Performance & Technical Optimization:

- Optimize WordPress site speed (Core Web Vitals, caching, image optimization, minification, etc.)
- Configure CDN, Cloudflare, and caching plugins
- Improve overall site performance and stability

SEO Responsibilities:

- Set up and configure SEO plugins (RankMath / Yoast)
- Optimize metadata, headings, URLs, and internal linking
- Manage schema markup, XML sitemaps, robots.txt
- Monitor and optimize Google Search Console issues
- Optimize product pages and blog pages for SEO
- Conduct keyword research for food & FMCG niche
- Recommend SEO-friendly content and site structure improvements

Marketing & Analytics:

- Work with Google Analytics, Search Console
- Manage Google My Business, Google Merchant Center
- Use tools like SEMrush / Ahrefs for SEO analysis
- Support local SEO (Madurai / Tamil Nadu preferred)

Requirements

- Proven experience in WordPress designing, customization, and SEO
- Strong sense of design aesthetics and branding
- Ability to deliver a premium, high-quality website look
- Experience with Cloudflare, CDN, caching, and performance optimization
- Strong technical SEO knowledge
- Experience with FMCG / food websites is an added advantage
- Understanding of local SEO for India
- Portfolio of WordPress websites with premium design and SEO optimization
