WordPress E-Commerce Speed Optimization

Job ID: 40325847

Budget: $30 – $250 CAD

My WooCommerce store is dragging its feet and I need a specialist to make it fly. The homepage, all product pages, and the checkout flow feel heavy: pages take too long to render, interactions stutter, and images appear after an awkward pause—even though I already tried a couple of caching plugins that didn’t move the needle.

I’m looking for a full-cycle performance pass: audit what’s slowing us down, implement fixes, and prove the gains. I expect Core Web Vitals to hit green across the board and the time-to-first-byte, total blocking time, and largest contentful paint to fall in line with best-practice benchmarks.

Key tasks likely include—but aren’t limited to—optimising or replacing the current cache setup, configuring server-side and browser caching properly, trimming unused CSS/JS, lazy-loading and compressing images, database clean-up, and introducing a CDN if that makes sense. You’ll have admin access to WordPress, cPanel/SSH, and staging so you can work safely before pushing to production.

Please outline the approach you’d take, the tools you rely on (e.g. WP Rocket, LiteSpeed, Redis, Cloudflare, GTmetrix, Lighthouse), and an estimated timeline. I’ll measure success with repeat speed tests plus a short observation period to confirm that the checkout remains flawless under load.

If you’ve turned sluggish WooCommerce stores into snappy experiences before, I’d love to see examples and hear how quickly we can get started.
