WooCommerce Homepage Speed Boost

My WooCommerce website (www.halloweencostumesale.com) is painfully slow. The biggest lag shows up right on that first page, and I suspect the heavy slideshow/images and several active widgets / plugins are part of the problem—though at this point the whole site feels sluggish, so there may be deeper issues hiding in the stack.
