WooCommerce Crash & PHP 8.5 Upgrade

Job ID: 40589744

Budget: €30 – €250 EUR

After updating WooCommerce the whole site went down with the following notice:

“PHP Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the woocommerce domain was triggered too early…”

That single error snowballed into wider functionality problems inside my custom theme, so pages that did load no longer behave as expected. I have already ruled out obvious plugin conflicts, yet the warning keeps firing and new ones appear in the error log whenever the theme calls WooCommerce templates.

Here is what I need now, urgently:

• Pin-point why the woocommerce text-domain is loading too early and patch the hook order so it fires at init or later.
• Clean up all theme-related PHP warnings/notices that break front-end functionality.
• Safely upgrade the server from PHP 8.2 to 8.5 and make sure WooCommerce, the theme and all active plugins remain fully compatible.
• Deliver a clean error log and a front-end that loads fast and flawlessly.

Please be ready to work right away and keep clear notes of every change you make so I can replicate them on staging if needed. Once the site opens without any notices, the theme features work again, and the store passes a quick checkout test, the job is done.
