Website Speed & SEO Fixes
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I have a website that has slowed to a crawl and is now struggling in search results. Google’s PageSpeed scores are low and, more importantly, most of my product pages sit in “crawled – currently not indexed”. The trouble spots are clear: oversized images and other media, an overload of plugins and scripts, and pockets of inefficient code scattered through the theme.
I need the site streamlined so it loads quickly, passes Core Web Vitals, and gives Google no technical excuse to skip my products. That means compressing or replacing heavy images, auditing and trimming unnecessary plugins or third-party scripts, and refactoring the clunky code that’s blocking performance.
Once the site is fast, the on-page SEO needs tightening. I want sharper keyword usage across product templates and fresh, compelling titles and meta descriptions that meet best-practice length and relevance guidelines.
The end goal is simple: every product page indexed and discoverable.
Deliverables
• Mobile and desktop PageSpeed Insights score of 90+ for the home page and a representative product page
• Optimised media with no visible quality loss
• Cleaner, lighter codebase and a documented list of plugins/scripts removed or replaced
• Updated title tags and meta descriptions for all products and core templates, guided by target keywords
• Sitemap resubmitted in Google Search Console and confirmation that product pages move to “Indexed” status
You’ll have full CMS, hosting and Search Console access, and I’ll be available for quick feedback on design or content questions. Let me know the tools you prefer—PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, Screaming Frog, or others—and a realistic timeline for completion so we can get this store ranking (and loading) the way it should.
