Optimise WordPress INP Load Time

Job ID: 39757449

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

My WordPress site’s Interaction to Next Paint is lagging, and every test points to the same culprit: bulky, render-blocking CSS and JavaScript. Images are already compressed and basic caching is in place, so the next leap forward must come from streamlining those assets.

I’m after someone who can audit the way styles and scripts are enqueued, spot unused or duplicate code, and then implement smart fixes—critical CSS extraction, async/defer loading, code splitting, whatever it takes—without breaking the theme or the plugins I depend on. The end-goal is simple: faster first paint and, most importantly, a “good” INP score.

You’ll work in a staging environment, document each tweak, and push to production once the metrics prove the win.

Deliverables:
• Pre- and post-optimisation reports (PageSpeed Insights or similar) highlighting INP improvements
• Updated functions.php or custom plugin containing the CSS/JS optimisation logic, clearly commented
• Short hand-over note so I can maintain these gains going forward

If you’ve recently shaved seconds off INP for another WordPress site, I’d love to see it along with a brief outline of the tools or methods you prefer.
