Ongoing WordPress Site Maintenance

Our corporate WordPress site calls for consistent, hands-on care to stay secure, fast, and trouble-free. I need someone to take full ownership of the maintenance cycle—from routine updates to emergency fixes—so the site keeps running smoothly for our customers and internal team.

Core responsibilities include updating WordPress itself, the theme, and every plugin without breaking existing functionality; monitoring uptime and performance with tools such as GTmetrix, Google PageSpeed Insights, or similar; hardening security through proactive scans, firewall rules, and prompt patching; and creating reliable, automated backups stored off-site. Speed matters, so please bring proven caching, image-optimisation, and database-tuning techniques that can shave precious seconds from page load times.

Access to WP-Admin and hosting control panel will be provided after kickoff. I’d like a concise monthly report summarising all changes, backup status, security events, and key performance metrics, plus a clear change log in case we ever need to roll back.

Acceptance criteria
