URGENT PROJECT: WordPress Polish, Hardened Security (with Spam Mitigation), and Full SEO Optimization
Project Overview:
I have built approximately 80% of my WordPress site myself, including all content and imagery. I need a highly skilled specialist to step in and fix the "unforeseen errors" and finalize the site for launch. So far it looks great to me
My Goal: To launch a fully polished, secure, and SEO-optimized website before Christmas.
My Work is Done: All copy, imagery, and basic page structure are complete. The specialist's role is purely technical and polish-focused.
(I think only a couple hours to start and then more work on going)
Phase 1: Urgent Pre-Christmas Launch Prep (Must be completed before Christmas) Ideally within a couple days
This phase focuses on making the site launch-ready, secure, and fully optimized for search engines.
1. Professional Polish & Speed Optimization

Final Design Review: Review the existing site structure and design to ensure a seamless, professional user experience, fixing any small adjustments, spacing issues, font inconsistencies, and responsive behavior problems across all devices.

Custom Adjustments: Implement specific design tweaks, including the creation and integration of a custom call-to-action button.
•
Speed Boost: Optimize the site's performance to improve Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS) and ensure fast loading times.
2. Hardened Security & Comprehensive Spam Mitigation
•
Core Security: Ensure SSL is correctly configured and implement a reliable, automated, and regular backup system. Install and configure a professional-grade security plugin stack for active malware protection and firewall defense.

Email Harvesting Prevention: CRITICAL: Implement techniques to prevent email address harvesting by bots. This includes obfuscating any publicly displayed email addresses and ensuring all contact points use a secure form instead of a direct email link.

Form Spam Protection: Implement comprehensive spam mitigation on all forms (e.g., Honeypot field and anti-spam plugin configuration) to stop junk submissions.
•
Email Deliverability: Verify and correct all essential DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) to ensure my business emails do not end up in client spam folders.
3. Full SEO Optimization

Technical SEO Audit: Review and fix technical SEO issues (e.g., broken links, crawl errors, sitemap configuration).

On-Page Optimization: Finalize all on-page SEO elements, including meta titles, descriptions, image alt tags, and heading structure, to ensure the site is fully optimized for search engines. (%70 of it is done already)
