Description:
We are a Toronto-based company seeking a skilled SEO and Website Optimization Expert to improve our Google rankings, site performance, and user experience. Our websites are built on WordPress with Elementor and the Kitchor premium theme.
We need someone who can handle complete SEO, PageSpeed optimization, and identify/fix any development or structural issues affecting performance and ranking.
Responsibilities:
SEO Optimization:
Full on-page SEO audit and implementation
Optimize meta titles, descriptions, H1–H6 structure, and content hierarchy
Keyword optimization (we will provide a priority keyword list)
Add schema markup (local business, FAQs, reviews)
Set up Google Search Console, fix crawl and indexing issues
Improve internal linking and URL structure
Update or create SEO-optimized content sections
Website Performance (PageSpeed) Optimization:
Improve scores on Google PageSpeed Insights (Core Web Vitals)
Optimize mobile and desktop performance
Image compression (WebP), lazy loading, next-gen formats
Minify and combine CSS/JS/HTML files
Implement caching (browser/server) and CDN (if applicable)
Address LCP, CLS, and FID issues
Technical & Development Issue Fixes:
Identify and fix broken links, redirects, 404 errors
Fix layout shifts, loading glitches, or slow-rendering pages
Resolve WordPress/Elementor conflicts or outdated code
Fix mobile responsiveness and any theme-related bugs
Improve site structure/navigation from a UX & SEO perspective
