Customize WooCommerce Pricing Logic
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need the “Dynamic Pricing / Dynamic Price Range” plugin on my WooCommerce store to ignore the regular price and calculate all discounts from the Wholesale Suite price whenever a customer is logged in as a wholesale user. Right now wholesale shoppers see no discount at all because the plugin still references the regular price.
My flash sales are usually fixed-amount discounts, so the adjusted logic must handle that scenario first, though it should remain compatible with any other rule types already supported by the plugin.
The work involves:
• Rewriting the plugin’s price-retrieval logic so every tier, cart rule, schedule, and shortcode tied to dynamic pricing pulls the wholesale price returned by Wholesale Suite.
• Maintaining full compatibility with existing WooCommerce hooks, taxes, and coupon calculations so nothing else in the checkout flow changes.
• Regression-testing with normal retail users to confirm their pricing remains untouched.
Acceptance criteria:
1. A wholesale test account sees the correct fixed-amount discount applied to the wholesale base price on product, cart, and checkout pages.
2. A retail test account continues to see the original pricing and any existing dynamic pricing rules.
3. No console or PHP errors are introduced; site speed and other plugins remain unaffected.
