I want to lock down my WordPress site before trouble strikes. Although we haven’t suffered an attack, I’d like a specialist to jump in now and handle three concrete tasks:
• Malware removal – run a full scan, clean anything suspicious, and document what was found and fixed.
• Security audit – review core, theme, plugin, user-role, and server settings, then give me a concise report with priority recommendations.
• Firewall setup – configure an application-level firewall (Wordfence, Sucuri, or a comparable tool you trust) and test that it is actively blocking common threats.
Once that is done I’m open to ongoing monitoring but need your advice on what level is truly worthwhile for my traffic and stack. Please outline a monitoring option in your proposal so I can make an informed decision.
Acceptance will be based on:
– Zero malware returned in a follow-up scan
