Annotation Project

Seeking a local Polish users to perform the annotation tasks.

This is an annotation project aimed at understanding search queries and creating mechanisms to apply different strategies to specific query types and their features. While some query features can be determined using data analytics, others require human judgment. By annotating usage data samples across various dimensions and using diverse teams, we aim to establish a common understanding of the usage data and the features that can be derived from human annotations. A comprehensive, validated, and optimized taxonomy, combined with insights from usage log analytics, forms the foundation for informed development of search engines.

To label usage search queries, we need to assign them to one of the following classes:

• Precedence Class
• Product category
• Theme
• Specific attribute
• Thematic attribute
• Exact
• Compatible
• Non-Product
• Symptom
• Merchant


Skills and Experience:
• Proficiency in Text annotation techniques
• Strong understanding of categorization methods
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate annotations
• Ability to meet deadlines and deliver within the specified quantity range
