Google Workspace Setup for Non-Profit Local Chapter (Atlanta)
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We are the Atlanta Chapter of NFBPA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to cultivating leadership in public administration in local and state governments. We need to establish a professional Google Workspace environment to streamline our chapter operations, improve communications, and support our membership growth initiatives at a cost-effective price point appropriate for our nonprofit budget.
Services Required
1. Google for Nonprofits Application & Workspace Setup
• Apply for Google for Nonprofits on our behalf (using our 501(c)(3) documentation)
• Guide us through the verification process to obtain free Google Workspace
• Register a professional domain name for our chapter (e.g., nfbpaatlanta.org or macnfbpa.org) and get approval on it before finalizing it.
• Setup of 10-15 email accounts with our domain name for executive board members and committee chairs (exact number to be provided)
• Configure proper email signatures with our branding for all accounts
• Setup email groups/distribution lists for specific committees
• Implement proper security protocols including 2-factor authentication
2. Google Drive Organization
• Create a structured shared drive system with proper permissions for:
o Executive Committee documents
o Committee-specific folders
o Meeting minutes and agendas
o Templates and marketing materials
o Event planning documents
o Member databases (with appropriate access restrictions)
• Setup document templates in Google Docs/Sheets/Slides with our branding (optional)
3. Additional Google Services Setup
• Configure Google Calendar with shared calendars for events and committee meetings
• Setup Google Forms for membership surveys and event registrations (maybe)
• Create Google Sites skeleton for our chapter website (simple version we can expand later) (Maybe)
• Setup Google Meet for virtual meetings with saved preferences and recording options
• Configure Google Chat for internal communications (Maybe, you tell us the value of this – if any)
4. Knowledge Transfer & Training
• Provide a 1-hour virtual training session for our executive team
• Create a simple user guide document for reference
• Provide 2 weeks of email support for questions after setup
Deliverables

The successful freelancer will work directly with our Chapter President and other executive committee members to ensure the setup meets our specific needs. We will provide the necessary documentation for the nonprofit application process.
