SketchUp Model & Renovation Estimate
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a measurement sheet and preliminary design for an apartment that is still a shell. I need those dimensions turned into an accurate SketchUp model—walls at their correct heights, door and window openings placed, floor and ceiling levels defined—so I can visualise the space and base my budget on solid quantities.
Once the model is ready, I want a detailed bill of quantities and cost estimate that covers every trade involved in bringing the unit to a turnkey finish: plastering, floor screed and levelling, electrical rough-in and fixtures, plumbing runs, tiling, painting, cabinetry, and any final decorative work. Break the numbers down by area and trade so I can drop them straight into my estimating template.
Deliverables
• SketchUp (.skp) file, layered and grouped for structure, services, and finishes
• PDF/Excel take-off tables with measured quantities per trade
• Cost estimate summarising labour and materials, clearly organised for future adjustments
Acceptance criteria
• Model deviates no more than 5 mm from the supplied measurements
• Quantities reconcile with the model within 2 % (spot-checked)
• Files and scenes are cleanly named and logically organised
