SketchUp & AutoCAD Wardrobe Drawings

Job ID: 40579254

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I already have preliminary concepts for a set of built-in wardrobes and matching cabinets and now need production-ready drawings that a workshop can follow without question. The priority is design details: precise joinery, clean line transitions, hinge and slider positions, and any clever storage inserts that keep the piece looking seamless once the veneered panels are on.

You’ll be working in both SketchUp and AutoCAD—SketchUp for the full 3-D visualization and AutoCAD for the final, dimensioned shop drawings. Everything must be laid out with real-world tolerances in mind so the cabinetmaker can go straight from your files to cutting and assembly.

Key points to keep in mind
• Finish: all faces will receive a veneer, so edge-band callouts and grain direction references need to be clear.
• Consistency: the wardrobes tie into other custom pieces (TV unit, doors, wall cladding, a small coffee-corner), so shared datum lines and overall aesthetic harmony matter.
• File hand-off: layered DWG files (metric), fully tagged SketchUp model, plus PDFs for quick review.

Once the drawings and models read perfectly on screen, I’ll run them past the fabricator; any tweaks from that review are part of the scope. Looking forward to collaborating on crisp, detail-driven plans that make fabrication effortless.
