Plywood Cupboard Nesting & Cutting Plan
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I have finalised every cupboard, shelf and drawer dimension for the wardrobes and storage units in my new apartment. All units will be built from plywood, so I now need a specialist who can translate my measurements into an efficient, ready-to-cut solution.
Here is what I expect:
• An optimised nesting layout for standard 8' × 4' plywood sheets that keeps off-cut waste to an absolute minimum.
• A full cutting plan: clear diagrams with part labels, grain direction where it matters, and allowance notes for edge-banding and saw-kerf.
• File formats that a carpenter or CNC shop can use immediately (PDF for quick reference and DXF or similar for machine import).
• A simple summary sheet listing each component, its final size, quantity and sheet location so I can double-check before we order the boards.
I will supply:
– A spreadsheet and sketches showing height, width, depth and any special details for every shelf and drawer.
– The plywood thicknesses being used (mostly 18 mm; one unit is 12 mm back panel).
Once you return the plan, I’d like a brief outline of the next assembly steps so I can schedule my workshop accordingly.
If you are fluent with software such as CutList Plus, OptiNest, SketchUp + Layout or AutoCAD and have done plywood nesting before, this will be straightforward. Accuracy and clear labelling are more important to me than fancy visuals, so please keep the drawings clean and practical.
