OBJ to SketchUp Conversion

Job ID: 40550946

Budget: €30 – €250 EUR

I have an existing 3D model in OBJ format that I’d like rebuilt natively in SketchUp (.skp). The OBJ came through as one big, solid block; before I send it to the slicer I need the interior cleared out so the part is hollow instead of fully filled.

Scope
• Open my OBJ, recreate it accurately in SketchUp, maintaining all exterior proportions.
• Remove the solid infill so the inside is empty (we can confirm wall thickness once you see the file).
• Deliver a clean, manifold-ready SketchUp file that I can export for 3D printing without further fixes.

If you’re comfortable reverse-engineering OBJ geometry, working in SketchUp 2022+ and preparing parts for FDM printing, this should be straightforward. Let me know how soon you can turn it around and any questions you have about the model.
