Modern Residential PlusSpec Modeling
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m looking for a SketchUp expert who is completely comfortable working with the PlusSpec plug-in to take my modern residential designs from 2D drawings to a clean, fully parametric 3D model. You’ll be handling the entire building—exterior envelope, interior layouts, structure, finishes, even the site pad—so the file must be organised with correct PlusSpec components, tags and materials throughout.
Here’s how the collaboration will flow:
• I supply PDF or DWG floor plans, sections, and elevations for one modern house at a time, along with any manufacturer-specific details I already have.
• You build the model in SketchUp using PlusSpec’s wall, roof, window and framing tools so everything stays editable for future design iterations.
• All geometry should read accurately when I generate PlusSpec take-offs or construction documentation.
• Once complete, you hand back the .skp file (no purged components), a quick scene set for presentation, and a short note highlighting any assumptions you made.
I review dimensions and material callouts; if the model matches the drawings and edits cleanly, the milestone is approved.
Strong PlusSpec workflow knowledge, solid architectural detailing skills, and an eye for modern style are essential. If that sounds like you, let’s get started.
