Modern Backyard SketchUp Makeover
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have roughly 300 m² of backyard to transform and I need a clean, modern SketchUp model that blends seamlessly with my existing house footprint (I have inspo pics). The scope is strictly exterior—no pool—so every square metre should work hard for everyday use and entertaining.
Landscaping
• Overall look: crisp, contemporary lines and materials that read “modern” at first glance.
• Plants: please stick to low-maintenance varieties; I don’t want a garden that needs weekly fussing. Tropical rainny weather. not much green spaces.
BBQ & Entertainment Zone
The heart of the project is a covered cooking-and-gathering space. It must include:
• a built-in grill set into an outdoor kitchen run
• comfortable seating for family and guests
• concealed or integrated storage for utensils and fuel
• a modern pergola that ties the area together architecturally
but leave enough open space for it to feel light enough
Site Circulation
Design side walkways that guide people from the house to the yard without bottlenecks, using materials consistent with the exterior palette.
Deliverables
• Native SketchUp (.skp) file with organised layers/tags
• 4 high-quality rendered views highlighting key areas
• Simple planting list identifying species and placement
