A-Frame Cabin Concept Plans
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m looking for a designer who can turn my ideas for a small, elevated A-frame cabin into clear, build-ready concept drawings. The structure will sit on posts and measure somewhere between 700 – 1,000 sq ft, serving as a personal retreat rather than a rental.
Key elements I need included
• Open floor plan on the main level
• Loft area for sleeping or storage
• Generous window walls to maximize light and views
Scope of work
1. Produce a basic floor plan and loft layout that reflect the features above.
2. Provide an exterior elevation illustrating the A-frame profile, post foundation, and window placement.
3. Supply a simple materials call-out or notes page so I know what the primary structural and finish components would be.
4. Deliver files in PDF plus the original editable format (SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar) so I can share them with a local builder.
I don’t need construction-grade engineering or detailed HVAC/MEP drawings at this stage—just a solid, well-proportioned concept I can refine later. Clear communication, a quick initial draft, and up to one round of revisions will help us get this right.
