Fix up SketchUp House architecture Model
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I have an existing architectural model created in SketchUp/DWG/OBJ that needs a quick check pass and lists cleanups before starting interior design.
Deliverables
• Cleaned, well-organized SketchUp file (.SKP)
• All new components and textures embedded, no external dependencies
• A short change log summarising what was fixed or added
• Exported files in .skp, .obj., .fbx, .gltf, .dfx, .dae (collada), .ifc
a. Lintels: Re-model all lintels to feature a gentle curve at the wall junction, transitioning into an outward slope. This ensures water runoff.
b. Ensure Columns, Beams and Slabs are modeled correctly and can be accessed separately
c. Object Labeling Schema (e.g. in SketchUp Outliner)
To facilitate easier working on individual objects, programmatic detection and clean exports (.obj/.fbx), the hierarchy must be strictly nested as follows:
Level 1: Building/Storey (Highest Level): Breaks the project down into manageable units (e.g., Floor 1, Floor 2, Roof).
Level 2 (Room/Zone) e.g. J-Bedroom, T1-Toilet, TR1-Terrace
Level 3: Components/Parts (Lowest Level): Detailed 3D geometry such as walls, slabs, windows, doors, and columns.
Level 4 (Object Type) e.g. Wall_Ext, Window_01, Floor, Door_Main, Railing, Parapet_L
Examples:
Floor_1 - > J-Bedroom -> Wall_Ext -> Window_01 -> Lintel
Note: Ensure all nested components are "Exploded" or "Baked" appropriately during export so the Room->Object logic persists in the metadata of the .fbx or .obj files.
d. External Additions (Images provided)
i. AC Duct Scaffolding: Add the metal framework around the AC ducts on either side of the stairs.
ii. Gate: Main Gate: Model as a standalone component with clear pivot points for animation/detection.
e. Merge Interior and Exterior drawings into a single drawing
