2D DWG to Textured SketchUp
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a clean 2-D DWG drawing of a small building and I need it brought to life in SketchUp for architectural visualization. The scope is straightforward: build only the exterior shell—walls, roof, openings—true to the DWG dimensions, then apply the specific textures and material finishes I will supply (brick façade, metal roof, window glass, etc.). No interior modeling is required at this stage.
I will send you:
• the DWG file exported from AutoCAD
• a short list of texture images and their intended surfaces
• reference photos that clarify look and proportions
Please return:
• a neatly organized SketchUp (.skp) file, grouped and layered for easy editing
• all custom materials embedded and correctly scaled
• an exported PDF or JPEG set of two to three key views so I can quickly review the result
Accuracy to the DWG and clean geometry are the main acceptance criteria. If you regularly work with SketchUp, AutoCAD/DWG imports, and basic material mapping, this should be a smooth assignment.
