Comprehensive Bagel Shop Design
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I already hold the architectural plans and a full equipment schedule for my new bagel shop; what I still need is a thoughtful interior designer who can translate those documents into a welcoming, highly functional space. The brief spans every public-facing and back-of-house zone—dining room, production kitchen, and customer restrooms—so flow, code compliance, and aesthetics must come together seamlessly.
You will receive PDF and DWG floor plans plus my equipment list on day one. From there I’d like you to refine the layout, specify finishes, lighting, furniture, and signage, and supply 3-D visuals that clearly convey the concept to my contractor. I haven’t locked myself into a single style; show me how modern, rustic, industrial or even a smart blend could work, as long as the end result still feels fresh and unmistakably “bagel.” I’ll share photo references to guide the dominant colour palette after we begin.
Deliverables I’m expecting
• Revised plan with optimal workflow for the kitchen and clear customer paths
• Reflected ceiling & lighting plan with fixture specs
• Material/finish schedule and colour palette board (PDF)
• Furniture, equipment, and fittings legend with sizing and codes
• High-resolution 3-D renders (preferably SketchUp/Enscape or 3ds Max/V-Ray) of dining, kitchen, and restroom perspectives
• Source files (DWG/SKP/Revit) for my builder and local authority
Acceptance criteria
1. Kitchen meets the equipment list without congestion and maintains HACCP/health code spacing.
2. Dining layout provides at least the seating count shown on the original plans while retaining accessibility clearances.
3. Colour and material selections match the reference images I provide.
4. Final documents are dimensionally accurate and print-ready at 1:50 (or comparable imperial scale).
If this brief fits your wheelhouse and you’re comfortable collaborating over Zoom and Google Drive, I’m ready to start as soon as we agree on milestones and timing.
