Weekly Sales & Purchase Sheet Updates
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
Each week a new batch of invoices, purchase orders, and sales receipts lands in my inbox. Those figures must be entered into a shared spreadsheet, sorted under the correct client or vendor so that running balances and dashboards stay accurate.
The file is already structured with standard headers and formulas; your task is to pull the key fields from each document, enter them in the right columns, and keep the client/vendor-based view perfectly tidy. A quick sense-check on totals and taxes is part of the routine so discrepancies surface early.
Every Friday, the sheet should reflect the week’s activity and a short note in a separate “Issues” tab should outline anything missing or unclear. Consistent formatting, zero data drift, and punctual delivery are the benchmarks for success.
If you know your way around spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel), are comfortable reading financial documents, and can keep to a weekly rhythm, this will be a smooth, ongoing assignment.
