Text Entry for Financial Records

I need help converting a backlog of financial statements and receipts into clean, well-structured spreadsheets. Everything is text based—no complex formulas—yet absolute accuracy is critical because these figures feed directly into my accounting workflow.

What I will send you
• Scanned PDFs and image files of bank statements, invoices, and expense receipts.
• A simple template in Microsoft Excel and the same template in Google Sheets—use whichever you prefer.

What I need back
• Every line item transcribed exactly as it appears, including dates, descriptions, amounts, and reference numbers.
• Consistent formatting (dates as dd-mm-yyyy, amounts in two-decimal currency).
• A quick note beside any unclear entry so I can review it later.

You’ll find the work straightforward if you’re comfortable with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and have a sharp eye for detail. I’ll start you with a small batch; if the quality is spot on, the project will roll out in weekly milestones.
