Text Data Entry & Organization
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a collection of text records that I pull directly from several online databases. Right now each file sits in an alphabetically named folder, but beyond that the information is scattered. Your task is to take those raw text snippets, type or copy-paste them cleanly into a master spreadsheet, and keep every entry in its proper alphabetical place so it remains easy to locate later.
Accuracy is everything: I rely on these records for daily reporting, so every character must match the source. A good eye for typos, stray spaces, or formatting quirks will make all the difference. Basic spreadsheet skills are fine—I mainly use Google Sheets—but consistency across rows and columns is essential.
Deliverables
• A neatly formatted spreadsheet containing every text record from the online databases
• File names and any supporting documents still arranged alphabetically, mirroring the sheet’s order
• A quick note summarizing any irregularities you spot while working
If you are comfortable with straightforward data entry and can keep a steady, detail-oriented pace, I’d love your help.
