8-Tab Sheets System Polish
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’ve already mapped out an 8-tab workbook and listed every header, so the structure is locked in. What I don’t have is the final layer of polish that will let a virtual assistant jump in without breaking anything.
Here’s what I need from you:
• Re-format each sheet so fonts, row heights, column widths, colours, and freeze panes are consistent and tidy.
• Add validation rules and dropdowns where blanks or typos would cause problems, making it simple for a VA to “drop tabs and columns” or add new rows without touching protected formulas.
• Build light conditional formatting (traffic-light alerts, alternating row shading) to guide the eye.
• Set up easy-to-read summary rows or a lightweight dashboard on the first tab—nothing too fancy, just totals and key counts that auto-update.
• Protect cells that hold formulas, hide helper columns if needed, and leave the rest unlocked for daily data entry.
• Deliver the file in both Google Sheets and Excel, tested to be sure everything works identically in each environment.
Acceptance criteria
1. Every tab matches the header plan I provide.
2. All formulas, data validation, and conditional formats survive copy/insert actions by a non-technical VA.
3. Summary numbers update automatically when new data is entered.
4. No broken references or #REF! errors when blank rows or columns are removed.
Once you’ve seen the actual workbook I’ll welcome any quick efficiency tweaks, but the core brief is simple: make the file clean, bullet-proof, and VA-ready. Let me know an estimated timeline and any clarifying questions you have so we can get started.
