Repair VBA, Convert to Google Apps Script

I have three Excel workbooks whose VBA-driven macros used to handle a handful of quick calculations and automated steps for my students. Those functions have stopped running altogether—no errors, just macros that refuse to fire—so first I need the existing code reviewed, debugged, and restored to full working order.

Once everything works flawlessly in Excel, the same functionality has to live inside Google Sheets. After you tidy up the VBA, please translate it into clean, well-commented Google Apps Script, embed it in a Sheets copy of each file, and make sure the buttons or menu items behave exactly as they do on the desktop.

Deliverables
• Repaired VBA across the three original worksheets
• Change log or in-line comments explaining what you fixed
• Google Sheets versions containing equivalent Google Apps Script
• Quick start note so I can roll the files out to students

Acceptance criteria
• All Excel macros run without errors and produce the correct results
• Google Sheets reproduces every automated function identically
• Code is organised and easy to follow for future tweaks
