Ongoing PDF Text Data Entry

I manage a continuous stream of PDF documents that must be turned into neatly structured text. Each file contains critical information—names, dates, descriptions, and reference numbers—that I rely on for reporting and analytics, so accuracy and consistency matter more to me than sheer speed.

The task is straightforward: extract every line of textual data from the PDFs and enter it into the spreadsheet template I provide (Google Sheets or Excel, whichever you prefer). Most files are selectable PDFs, but a few may require light OCR using Adobe Acrobat, ABBYY, or a similar tool. I keep everything organized in a shared Drive folder and update it weekly, so you will always know what’s next in the queue.

Because this is an open-ended engagement, clear communication is essential. I will share brief instructions with each new batch, flagging any fields that need special attention. Once you finish a set, you’ll upload the completed sheet and send a quick note highlighting any ambiguities you encountered so I can resolve them before the next round.

Deliverables:
• Accurate transcription of all text from each PDF into the designated spreadsheet
• Consistent formatting that matches my column headers (capitalization, date format, etc.)
• Timely submission of each batch within the mutually agreed window
