One-off conversion of Word-based financials into automated, auditable spreadsheet

Job ID: 40099967

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

I have a set of balance sheets and explanatory notes that currently live inside a single Word document. I need every figure and note accurately transferred into a well-structured, formula-driven spreadsheet that can be maintained month after month with minimal fuss.

This is a one-off, end-to-end clean-up and rebuild, not simple copy-paste.

Core tasks: ----

Lift all financial figures and notes from the Word document into Excel or Google Sheets

Create a clear, logical spreadsheet structure with headings and sub-headings

Separate input cells from calculated cells

Add formulas so totals, sub-totals, variances (and simple ratios where relevant) update automatically

Review & integrity check: ----

Check for arithmetic errors, inconsistencies, or broken logic in the source material

Correct obvious arithmetic issues

Flag ambiguities or inconsistencies clearly rather than guessing or inventing assumptions

Readability & usability : ----

Use bold headings and subtle colour highlights to guide the eye to totals, sub-totals, and key notes

Leave a brief legend or comments explaining any colour coding used

Keep the file readable, auditable, and easy to update

Constraints : ----

No macros unless clearly justified

No dashboards or unnecessary visualisation

Preserve the logic and content of the source material unless change is required for correctness

Deliverables : ----

Clean, fully formatted spreadsheet (Excel .xlsx or Google Sheets)

Built-in formulas for all totals and sub-totals, verified for accuracy

All balance-sheet data and explanatory notes included

One short page (or separate tab) explaining:

-How to update the sheet safely

-Any assumptions avoided or issues flagged

Once the spreadsheet matches the Word source exactly, recalculates correctly, and passes a spot-check for formula integrity, the project is complete.
