Monthly Budget Spreadsheet in Google Sheets

I need a clean, easy-to-use monthly budget spreadsheet built directly in Google Sheets. It should let me enter income and expenses once and immediately see running totals, category subtotals and an end-of-month balance without touching any formulas.

The sheet has to be fully editable on the front end yet keep core calculations protected so accidental changes don’t break anything. I’d like the categories to be simple to rename or expand, and the file should be ready to duplicate for future months with one click. Charts or visual summaries that highlight spending trends would be a bonus.
