Modify Google Sheet Chat Function

I am an investment analyst with clients and have a chat function coded on one sheet of a multi-sheet Google Spreadsheet. I enter chat messages there and they appear on a different sheet. As time has gone on, a different tab has dominated the Google Spreadsheet. I'd like to be able to enter chat messages there and have past ones appear on the chat tab so that clients would not need to click around to find what I'm doing or thinking.

If you respond please indicate your experience with Google Spreadsheet chat, mostly so I'm sure you've actually read this project description. Many contractors do not read project descriptions before responding.

Please respond if:

After this problem gets solved, I may have others. I seem to have constant projects in Python and Google Sheets.
