Live Word-Count Tracker Graph

My manuscript is currently over its target length and I want a clear, visual way to see—day by day—how many words still have to go before my deadline. Please build a small, Mac-friendly file (Excel, Google Sheets or any equally simple option) that lets me type my daily word count in one spot and instantly refreshes a line or bar graph showing:

• today’s remaining words to cut
• the ideal daily reduction curve from now until the deadline
• whether I’m ahead, behind, or exactly on target

I will be entering the number directly into the sheet each day, so no external APIs or docs are involved. All calculations and the graph must update automatically as soon as I type the new figure.

Deliverables I need:
– A ready-to-use template with the live graph already linked to the relevant cells
– Clear, step-by-step instructions (plain text or brief screen recording) on how to adjust the start word count, target word count, and deadline so I can reuse it for future projects
– Confirmation that everything runs smoothly on macOS (current Office/Google Sheets versions)

Once I open the file, enter my baseline numbers, and watch the graph update after one test entry, I’ll mark the job complete.
