Input Transaction Data Accurately

A batch of transaction records is waiting in plain text documents (.txt and Word) and must be transferred into our standard spreadsheet template without errors. The task centers on data input—no admin duties or poster design for now—so every minute can be spent on meticulous copy-paste, correct formatting, and double-checking figures.
Scope
• Copy each transaction from the supplied text files into the designated columns (date, amount, reference, customer ID, notes) of the spreadsheet I provide.
• Ensure totals match the control sheet; any mismatch is flagged in a separate column.
• Save the completed file with the agreed name convention and return it via the shared folder.
Acceptance criteria
• 100 % of rows present, no typos, all totals balancing to the cent.
• File delivered by the deadline we confirm in chat.
• Quick replies during the process so issues are resolved in real time.
