Information Dashboard from Google Sheets and Images (on G-Drive)

As background, our business is to visit retail premises to inspect and provide condition reports of equipment supplied by our clients. The list of retailers and locations changes every month, with inspection Q&As and photography reporting being largely the same, with some changes to the Q&As and photography needs occurring every couple of months.

For field work and reporting we use a mix of Google Sheets, Appsheet forms (based on Google Sheets) and images uploaded to Google Drive.

Our requirement is to create a dashboard template that summarises each monthly project workflow - as it happens - providing a summary/overview of progress and key stats of our progress and reporting through the month’s schedule of retail locations and equipment inspections.

The detail included (within the dashboard) will be summary stats of progress, line-x-line details of problems found, comparison of the months results versus recent results separate Google Sheets file) plus the ability to add text commentary and other links (to PDFs and images on Google Drive). And, Google map of all locations for visits - flagging those completed and those yet to be done.

We have a draft template for the dashboard report and all details of how information is linked.

Our need is for someone to pull the template dashboard together and work with us through the first month - as needed - to ensure it works and can be re-purposed for subsequent months, as refreshed schedules are received.

In terms of the platform used - for the dashboard - we’ll look for guidance. Our only requirement is that it’s robust - so we can create new dashboards every month - and flexible - so we can amend if needed. For our clients, the dashboard needs o be sat on URL behind a password protection.

Another task; we need to automate the process of archiving our monthly inspection workbook adding key details into our archive workbook. We use the archive workbook for comparison reporting (trends, etc).

In terms of choosing someone to assist, we’re looking for relevant experience and, probably someone in the UK - for ease of communication and being reliability of delivering that which they’ve promised.
