IFTTT - Trading Integration & Google Sheets Integration
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am connecting IFTTT to specific alert services for trading. The system should read the alert, break it down into individual components and put the information into a Google Sheet in the correct place to run calculations. Then those calculations should be sent back to ifttt which will need to be connected to a webhook service (system 2). The trade will be executed. Another service will be used for monitoring and exiting the trades (system 3). IFTTT should continue monitoring for additional alerts to add more contracts to the position where the information needs to be added to Google Sheets and the calculation sent back to IFTTT to go to System 2. I have the basic template I want for Google Sheets. I want IFTTT configured to handle Discord, Twitter, Slack and SMS and Telegram alerts.
I can give you the different type of alerts so you can help refine the filters, alert source (telegram/discord/sms/slack), the documentation for system 2 (where the trade order has to go), the variation steps (if additional positions need to be added to an existing), the google sheet template where the order information is sent to and where the calculation is made for position sizing and where the records of the trade transactions need to be stored.
There is no json being received from ifttt. Right now, my applet is getting twitter trade alerts like this : $TQQQ 9/15 42 puts at 2.71. Could be calls or puts. That info has to go into google sheets, a calculation is done for position sizing and sent back to ifttt. Then the info is set up to be sent to an execution platform in json. Additional info in the tweet would determine stuff like which google sheet it goes to and which calculation to use from sheet. Once the trade is executed the info comes back from the execution platform or the broker to be added to google sheets.
There will be something in the alert that signifies whether it is just news or a comment vs an alert. Each alert service is different. That extra information is used to choose which risk calculation I want to use off google sheets which gets sent back to ifttt to create a json payload to send to the execution platform. Ifttt will be used to monitor the alert channel and gather the info for Google Sheets, then ifttt sends it to the trade execution platform which gets it into the broker. The trade execution platform or the broker info gets added to google sheets. Another system outside of this handles the exits and monitoring.
The expected outcome is: Reusable applets for IFTTT that will:
1) dynamically filter and parse alerts coming from twitter, discord, sms, and telegram alerts? Applets for filtering and parsing the alerts
2) Applets/webhooks to connect ifttt to the execution platform
3) Applets for Google Sheets integration for the trades to be tracked and position sizing to be handled
4) Applets for monitoring (from brokerage and/or trade platform)
