Hyperlink Materials in Google Sheets
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have four Google Sheets—one each for roofing, siding, decking, and exterior painting—already populated with every material my crews use. Alongside those sheets I’ve compiled a complete set of manufacturer URLs for each item. Your task is straightforward: open each sheet and turn every material name into a clickable link that points to its corresponding manufacturer page.
Key details
• Platform: Google Sheets only.
• Display style: the link must be embedded in the material name itself, not in a separate column.
• Source links: I will supply a clean list of verified manufacturer URLs; no web-searching is required.
Deliverable
• Four Google Sheets returned with every material cell hyperlinked and the original wording, order, and formatting preserved.
Acceptance check
Each link should open without error, display the same material name text, and be applied to 100 % of the rows in all four sheets.
To stat, I will provide 1 of the 4 sheets to make sure we are doing it correctly. If you succeed, I'll share the other 3.
