Google Sheets Raffle Grid
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a clean-looking 10 × 10 raffle board in Google Sheets that people can visit, pick an open square, and type only their name—nothing else. To make that work, the sheet must be protected so external users are restricted to entering text in blank cells while the rest of the sheet stays locked.
Across the very top of the grid I want the square price and the overall prize stated clearly, so every visitor sees the cost and reward at a glance.
Colour coding will show the current status of every square:
• white = open
• green = paid (I’ll update this manually after receiving payment)
• yellow = pending
Behind the scenes I need a private place—either far off to the side or on a hidden tab—to track each buyer’s name, phone number, chosen box number, and payment method. This area must stay invisible to anyone viewing the public snapshot.
Acceptance criteria
• 10 × 10 grid formatted and aligned
• Sheet permissions limit outsiders to typing in empty squares only
• Price & prize banner placed at the top row and locked
• Conditional formatting applies the white/green/yellow status colours I specify
• Hidden data section securely stores name, phone, box #, payment method
• Clear instructions left for me on how to mark a square as paid
If you’ve set up similar self-service raffles in Google Sheets and can deliver the protected, colour-coded file quickly, let’s get started.
