Google Sheets Purchase History Update

I need my master customer sheet to pull in the latest product-name information from a separate spreadsheet so that every row shows the most up-to-date purchase history for each client. Only the product names are required—no dates, amounts, or other data.
The source file is already organised with a unique customer ID that also exists in the master sheet, so the task is essentially a lookup or merge operation. Whether you use VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, QUERY, or an Apps Script, the result should be a clean, automated link between the two files that refreshes whenever the source is updated.
