Google Sheets Automation & Reporting Overhaul
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
My current Google Sheets hold our core business metrics, but manual data entry and ad-hoc calculations slow the team down each month. I want to turn those sheets into an efficient, largely hands-off system that:
• Automates data entry – whether through structured intake tabs, validated drop-downs, or an Apps Script that pulls numbers from other internal sources, the goal is to eliminate copy-paste mistakes and make updates instant.
• Generates polished reports – a single click (or time-trigger) should create the monthly summaries and yearly analysis we rely on for decision-making. Charts, pivot tables, and dynamic ranges must refresh automatically.
The raw data will always be our Business Metrics, so formulas, named ranges, and scripts should be built around that structure.
Acceptance criteria
1. A clean, locked master sheet for automated data capture.
2. Buttons or scheduled triggers that compile the monthly and yearly reports into separate tabs (or PDFs).
3. Documentation inside the file explaining how each script or formula works for future edits.
If you’re comfortable blending advanced formulas with Google Apps Script and can keep everything clear for non-technical users, this project should be straightforward and rewarding.
