Freelance Cash Income Spreadsheet

I have a year’s worth of cash payments from my freelance work that must be organized for my upcoming IRS filing. I need a clean, easy-to-read spreadsheet ledger—Excel or Google Sheets is fine—that lays out each payment on its own row with the following columns ready to go:

• Date of payment
• Payment amount
• Client name
• Service provided

Please set up the sheet so totals update automatically and the layout is print-ready should the IRS request a copy. Once the template is built, I’ll enter—or import—my transactions, so clear cell formatting and simple formulas are essential. If you have ideas for a light dashboard (e.g., monthly totals or category summaries) that won’t overcomplicate the file, feel free to suggest it; otherwise, a straightforward ledger is all I need.
